Where should you stay in Curaçao?
Let’s find your kind of holiday
We are curious, so tell us a little about your holiday. Four questions, a bit of fun, and suggestions from us at Villa Curiel Resort—here with us, elsewhere on the island, or a little of both.
Our view as local hosts, not an independent hotel comparison. No email needed. Your answers stay in this browser tab.
What would you like outside your door?
We love a city stay, but that does not mean it is everybody’s holiday. Start with what you would like outside your door.
The heart of Willemstad
For city walks, Caribbean and international kitchens, and everyday essentials within reach. Beaches become outings. Our three stays are in two city locations, away from the busiest nightlife streets; a city still has its sounds.
The island at your doorstep. The city on foot →A quieter western stay
Enjoy nature and slower evenings? Have a look at the west. Think ahead about groceries, dinner and getting around—the places you need may be a drive away. Check actual swimming access too.
Beachfront or resort convenience
For swimming close by or keeping meals and facilities together. Check actual swimming access, what is included and which facilities are on site. Beachfront accommodation and an all-inclusive resort are different choices.
A little of both
Several city days, then time by the sea or in quieter surroundings? Splitting a stay can give each mood its own space. Allow for packing, transfer time and check-in arrangements.
For another perspective, explore the Curaçao Tourist Board’s accommodation guidance. Our quiz is our personal starting point, not a survey of every property.
Three personalities. One personal welcome.
We are here to help you find a stay that fits. Villa Amalie has individual rooms and shared spaces; The Garden Cottage at Villa Curiel has its own garden setting; Waaigat Lagoon Apartments offers apartments and studios at our other city location. The lagoon is not a swimming beach.
